Help a Musician in Need!

Since 2005, Dave’s Instruments, a program of the Serimus Operating Foundation, has provided instrument rental scholarships to students who want to participate in middle school band or orchestra but could not otherwise afford access to an instrument. Boomer Music is proud to work in collaboration with the Serimus Foundation to provide instruments and maintenance for these students through Dave’s Instruments.

The Serimus Operating Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Donations are tax deductible and go directly to fund additional rental scholarships at participating PSD middle schools. For more information contact info@serimus.org.

DrumsWest Percussion is now part of Boomer Music!

Fort Collins, CO – Boomer Music Company announced the acquisition of DrumsWest Percussion and Sound

effective April 1, 2016. This collaboration builds upon the success that DrumsWest has enjoyed over the past 24 years and incorporates that knowledge and experience into the already outstanding Boomer Music staff. 

 

“I’m thrilled to be able to offer this level of service to our customers,” said Drew Holmes, owner of Boomer Music. “(DrumsWest owner) Ward Durrett brings a lifetime of percussion experience with him. We’re looking forward to working with him for many years to come.” 

 

“With the recent closure of Colorado Drum and Percussion’s Linden Street store, Fort Collins currently lacks a brick and mortar specialty drum shop,” added Durrett. “This partnership will allow us to fill that void while continuing to serve the existing DrumsWest customer base and expand product and service offerings to the entire drumming community of Colorado.” 

 

This acquisition makes Boomer Music’s South Mason Street location the one stop shop for rentals, repairs, and sales of all band, orchestral, and percussion instruments in Northern Colorado.
