Bringing Music To Life Instrument Drive

Boomer Music is a donation point for this year's Bringing Music to Life Instrument Drive. Bring in your gently-used band or orchestra instruments which will be repaired and then donated to Title One Colorado schools. The drive ends on March 25th.

What a great opportunity!  The Canadian Brass, with CSU's own Caleb Hudson, will be doing a master class at CSU on Sunday, January 29, at 10:00 a.m.  Tickets are FREE, but space is limited.

Exciting News about Repairs at Boomer Music!

The time has come to finally announce an exciting project we’ve been working on since this summer!

As most people in the Fort Collins musical community know, Jana Thomas of The Repair Shop is taking a well-earned retirement after 37(!) years of serving Northern Colorado and will be closing her shop as of Friday, January 13.  She and I have been working diligently to figure out how to carry on the tradition of quality service she has built over this distinguished career.

Since we began to offer onsite repairs at Boomer Music, we’ve endeavored to provide the highest quality work at the best possible value by employing technicians who maintain unrivaled professional standards.  In keeping with this philosophy, we will be adding Reid Cameron and Angela Kilgore-Roehl to our repair staff!

Longtime customers of The Repair Shop will recognize Reid and Angela and know the quality work they have produced under Jana’s tutelage.   We are humbled and honored to be able to carry on that tradition and expand the top notch repair services Boomer Music already offers to the community. 

We look forward to serving our current customers and are eager to make new friends!
